URGENT!
SJ 2, the Convention of States Resolution to call a convention to propose amendments limited to imposing fiscal restraint on the federal Government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government and impose term limits on members of congress and federal officials, will be heard in the Business and Labor and Economic Affairs Committee on Wednesday, January 18 at 8 AM MST.
Please help MT by doing 1, 2, or all 3 of these:
1. CALL the Legislative Information desk at 406-444-4800 encouraging these Senators to support Convention of States. Leave a message for Sen. Usher, Sen Friedel, Sen. Sales, Sen Trebas, and Sen. Tempel, and Sen. Vance. At the same time, leave the message with the Business and Labor Committee. (you can leave a message for up to 10 Senators and one committee in one call).
3. EMAIL them asking for support. Keep your email short, a line or two at the most stating that you support SJ 2, the Convention of States Resolution.
