• Private clubs such as the Elks, Eagles, and Moose lodges

• Title Company(is someone on your team a realtor or broker?)

• Civic Center

• Indoor training and shooting range

Should be procured at the beginning of a 6-week plan, making sure requests to National

are submitted with a 3-week window before payment is due

Volunteers needed for:

• Setup

• Cleanup

• Sign-in table- to collect email and phone numbers of attendees for follow-up

• Refreshment table- water, co

ffee (health code issues could come into play with food) 

• Stationary and Stamp table- provide stationary and stamps to attendees to write to

their legislators on the spot, have names/addresses of legislators visible on this table

• Literature table

Headliners

Submit requests for headliners well in advance of event

When headliners are participating, an RSVP system is wise to use

Some venues will require a Certificate of Insurance. This can be requested by

<completing and> <submittin>g an Event Payment Request Form to

payment@cosaction.com, along with documents from the venue showing the specifics

of the coverage they require.

Security

Some venues will charge for providing security for your event. Check contracts or

agreements for the specifics and costs for this.

Alcohol

It is the policy of Convention of States to not provide or o

ffer alcohol at COS sponsored

events.

Equipment

For venues that have equipment available, consider the following:

• Podium

• Microphone and Speakers

• Can your event be recorded?

• Can you live-stream the event?

• Folding chairs

• COS banners and tablecloths

• American flag

Advertising

The following are possible ways to advertise your town hall:

• Emails

• Text blasts

• Social Media

• Flyers in local businesses

• Possible PSA on radio?

• Local political party, gun club newsletters

• Paid radio ads or social media ads

• Personal email accounts- send an announcement to all your contacts

• Telepatriot missions to our supporters
