When President Woodrow Wilson took office in 1912, the US Constitution was just 125 years old, but he and his Progressive wing argued that it had already outlived its usefulness.   They believed that our legislative process was too slow in responding to the needs of the people.

Instead, they wanted to replace the constitution with a muscular government run by elite administrators who would decide what is best for the people.

This represented a huge departure from our country’s founding principles.  After vigorous national debate, Progressivism was soundly rejected by the American people.  The Republicans won the 1920 election in a landslide by promoting our constitution and free market principles.

Where Are We Today

The modern generation of Progressives realize that their elitist ambitions are still opposed by most Americans, so they conspire with a complicit media to coordinate a steady flow of deception to reach their goals.

Here’s the proof:

Below is a short video clip of Jon Gruber, the architect of Romneycare / Obamacare.  In this video, Gruber proudly states that the Progressives lied to the American people to get Obamacare passed.  After this public disclosure, Gruber took a LOT of heat from the Progressives for saying this out loud and exposing their deception.

Other Recent Examples of Progressive Deception

·         In June 2022, Dr. Deborah Birx, the government’s lead spokesperson for Covid, has written a book where she openly admits that the government used a steady flow of deceptive data to justify unpopular and ineffective mandates for lock downs, facemasks, and vaccines.

·         In August 2022, the Progressives passed a massive $739 Billion spending bill, deceptively called The Inflation Reduction Act.  The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) has estimated it will have near zero impact on inflation.

These examples demonstrate that our government (with a complicit media) routinely deceives the American people as it imposes authoritarian mandates, regulations, and deficit spending.

Good News:  A Remedy Is Sitting Right Under Our Noses

A little-known clause in Article V of the US Constitution allows the states to bypass the federal government, and to hold a convention of states to propose constitutional amendments that will prevent such abuses of federal power.

The Convention of States Action (COSA) was launched in 2013 and is rapidly gaining the needed support to call a convention to draft amendments that will address 3 specific areas of government overreach:

1.       Constrain the federal government’s ability to impose regulations and mandates

2.       Place constraints on the federal government’s spending

3.       Impose term limits on federal legislators and administrators

Where Are We Today:  It’s Looking Good

Nineteen states have already requested a convention of states.  We need just 15 more states to sign on to reach the required 34 states.

As of August 2022, Pennsylvania’s state legislature is very close to signing on for a convention.  A vote will be taken in the PA senate in the Fall 2022 session.  But there are still several state senators who are on the fence.  It will pass with their votes.

You Can Make The Difference

Please take 2 minutes to call or email the office of your PA state senator the week of September 6th and ask them to support a convention of states via Senate Resolution 152.
