First, thank you for being willing to turn this lofty goal, of 1,000 supporters in attendance, into a reality. It is our firm belief that a strong turn out will help make North Carolina the 20th state to pass the resolution.
How exciting is that?
There are three GOTV (texting) missions active. Two of the missions are exclusively assigned to members of the NC GOTV team. These missions have bus stop information to the rally.
The third (main) mission is for any GOTV volunteer that would like to help invite patriots to the rally.
All missions ask the person respond if they are planning on attending. If you get a response that he/she is going, please place their number in this Google sheet. This will help us get important information to them.
The GOTV tool is extremely powerful and easy to send many texts very quickly. Unfortunately, cell mobile networks can view this as spam and each carrier has their own standard. The following guidelines will help prevent this.
- Don't send more than 30 texts in an hour and a max of 150 in a day
- If someone replies, send a quick response back.
- It is better to error on the side of caution, if you notice a slow down in your texting delivery take a break for several days.
