Thank you for stepping up to help get out the vote in New Mexico! With your help, we can get COS-friendly candidates across the finish line. Our second campaign is sending text messages to Samantha Barncastle Salopek in New Mexico Senate District 38. Samantha is in a dogfight against a hard-leftist. Please remember you do not need to live in New Mexico to help with this campaign.
We have a chance to make a significant impact in this race so please send text messages in support of Samantha's candidacy when you have the time. Please watch the training below for details on how to use the COSGOTV app NOTE: This is an older training video and not the current campaign. We have a country to save, team!
What is the texting team?
Through the COSGOTV (Get Out the Vote) app, volunteers can efficiently deliver a mass quantity of P2P (person-to-person) text messages in a short amount of time.10 messages can be sent in under 30 seconds.
IMPORTANT!
- Do not send more than 30 messages a minute (3 pages).
- Do not text for more than 1 hour.
- Do not send more than 200 messages per day.
If you do, your carrier may block you from sending any texts!!
Users of the COSGOTV app (referred to as Activists) may be assigned to one or more teams, and teams are assigned to campaigns, which are associated with one or more lists of people to text (referred to as Voter Lists).
To use the COSGOTV app as an Activist, a person must have a CitizenBuilder (CB) account and have signed the Volunteer Agreement, but no assigned CB role is needed.
The COSGOTV app uses the Activist’s CB account, so the same email and password are used to sign in. An admin must include each Activist in an authorized list before they are able to use the app.
