Are you tired of watching our country move farther and farther away from all that you hold dear?
Abraham Lincoln stated well, “The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.”
In Saint Lucie County, we are enjoying working with several teams to reform education and it is FUN!
We are working with Florida Citizens Alliance and the bill 989 that they got passed in Florida in 2017 to review and return the textbooks in our local counties to Florida State Statute (which includes teaching American History from original sources: The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Federalsit Papers, etc.)
This project utilizes training by Lt. Col Roy White (USAF, retired) and his organization TNT “Truth in Textbooks” to use their process and training to make us productive in reviewing instructional materials in Florida school districts.
TNT focuses primarily on Socials Studies. They have agreed to train reviewers, starting with their on-line course and real life workshop. They not only have a proven track record for a methodology that works but they have been substantially successful with getting some large publishers to make their recommended changes.
