South Dakota patriots are dedicated to the Convention of States movement and are not letting the social distancing guidance slow down the momentum in our state.
Grassroots supporters have turned to the internet as a stage to reach out to friends and neighbors and share the power of an Article V convention.
Recently, more than half dozen people joined in for a discussion of our state news and national status.
We are breaking the old rule that told people it was impolite to discuss religion and politics. These two topics are too important to not feel comfortable talking about. Now we are taking that vital discussion to a digital platform.
The online tools for video conferencing and hosting digital conversations has been a new way for some of our active volunteers to educate people about the movement and share ways to get involved.
Many people are starting to see the disconnect between the ruling political class in Washington, D.C., and the average American. Now is a great time to introduce them to the solution that is as big as the problem.
This was the first online round table for our area. People are looking for information during this time of chaos, and Convention of States gives them an opportunity to make a difference.
