Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
September 2019
September Events and Requests
• Let’s give thanks for a amazing national Leadership Summit in Williamsburg last month!
Pray for ongoing impact and enthusiasm.
• Ask God to bless the development of training and leadership courses in COS University.
• Pray for the tech team as they work to maintain and improve the website, tools, and systems.
• September 17 is Constitution Day. Pray for volunteers who are working on presentations and
other projects to celebrate the day.
Leadership Prayer Focus
Things are hopping in the state of Massachusetts since Michael Arnold
recently stepped into the role of State Director!
Michael shared prayer requests immediately after the excitement of the
Leadership Summit: “The faith, patriotism, and love that swept over me at
the summit is still fresh in my veins.” He asks prayer for his own eyes and
heart to be open to God’s truth, and that we COS patriots would find effec-
tive ways to “connect the dots” for Americans between the unease in their
hearts and the self-evident truths before their eyes. Michael reminds us of Eph. 6:10-18.
Scripture of the Month
May the favor of the Lord rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.
— Psalm 90:17
Lord, without your favor, we know our cause will not succeed. And without your favor and mercy,
we know our beloved country is doomed as well. So God, we ask for your favor to rest on us. Give
us favor among leaders and legislators and our fellow citizens. We boldly call on you to work mira-
cles and acts of providential grace. Establish the work of our hands so that it will bear the fruit
that you intend for it to have. Raise up district captains, social media warriors, and media liai-
sons, and empower them to be effective in their roles. Allow us to change history for your glory.

Prayer Goals for 2019
• Increase in the number and engagement level of grassroots leaders—specifically by the end
of summer—as follows:
•
925 active leaders across COS (867 as of mid-July)
•
525 active DCs across COS (491 as of mid-July)
•
90 active GCs across COS (75 as of mid-July)
• Two more states to pass the resolution before the end of 2019, which will bring us to a total
of 17, half-way to our goal of 34 states.
•
A distinct increase in the number of COS presentations given by volunteers across the country.
• A breakthrough in Eagle Forum's opposition to COS (this may need a longer-term prayer
focus beyond 2019).
18 Minnesota: continue to lift up the health
concerns of various team members.
19 Pennsylvania: pray for forward motion for
the COS resolution in the legislature and
passage in 2019!
20 Ask God to raise up a great team of social
media warriors to share the COS message on
Facebook and Twitter, and that Colossians
4:6 will always be true of them.
21 Connecticut: give thanks for the new Grass-
roots Coordinator and pray blessings on her
as she learns the role.
22 Kansas: Lift up DC Frank Beattie who has
been diagnosed with cancer.
23 Wisconsin: join in asking God to provide a
Legislative Liaison, Events Coordinator, Coa-
lition Director and many District Captains.
24 New Mexico: the team is excited about initial
responses they’ve seen with faith and busi-
ness coalitions. Pray for open doors.
25 Minnesota: pray for the MN team and SD
Jackie Burns as they develop a District
Captain mentoring program.
26 South Carolina: join the team in asking for
God to change the heart of Evan Mulch of
the John Birch Society, a strong opponent of
COS.

on two new DCs from the recent meet-and-
greet.
28 Pray for our nation to humble itself before
the Lord and experience the fear of God—
Psalm 147:11.
29 Arkansas: the team is grieving the loss of
their Events Coordinator, Jim Cyre. Pray for
comfort for Jim’s family and for God to
supply a new person in that role. Also pray
for a Grassroots Coordinator.
30
Ask God to bless our Regional Directors:
Diana Reimer, Grant Martin, Monica Sellers,
David Schneider, Joanne Martin, Catherine
Zemanek, and Rodney Huckleberry. Pray for
safety in travels and the ability to rally the
troops.
