Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
October 2020
October Events and Requests
• Lift up the Circle of 10 effort that is focused on encouraging voter turn-out.
• Pray that those participating in Patriot Academy’s Constitution Alive course will take the
material and share it far and wide with those in their circle of influence. A new Constitution
Alive course will begin on October 12. Let’s ask God for 5000 attendees!
• Our teams are still being hampered by email problems. Lift up the software developers as
they work on a solution.
Leadership Prayer Focus
The COS leader we are focusing on this month is Brett Sterley, State
Director for Missouri.
Brett asks prayer specifically for people in his family who are dealing
with health matters. Lift up his wife as she recovers from a health issue
and also his mother as they assist her in working through health-
related concerns. Brett also requests prayer that he can help the
Missouri team successfully implement their strategy heading into the
2021 legislative session, and that he will be able to make himself
appropriately accessible to them as a state leader.
Scripture of the Month
Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
— Psalm 2:11-12
Father God, we acknowledge that you are the true Ruler over the earth. Arrogant, foolish earthly
rulers who refuse to honor you will rightly incur your wrath. Raise up leaders in our land whose
hearts are humble before you and your Son, who desire to serve you in their roles of influence. We
depend on you as our refuge in this troubled and uncertain time.
