Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
October 2018
October Events and Requests
• COSU, our on-line training “university,” has been undergoing a rework for many months and
is scheduled for a “soft launch” very soon.
• Hawaii: Mark Meckler will be visiting that island paradise October 3-5 and there are many
events planned in conjunction with his visit.
• Mike Ruthenberg experienced a bit of a set-back with another surgery that was needed in
late August. PTL he is healing well. Pray for the infection in his skull to be completely gone.
• Michigan: The COS resolution is still in play in 2018. Let’s claim Proverbs 21:1, asking God
to “channel” the hearts of Michigan legislators toward passage.
Leader of the Month
Dr. Tom Coburn is one of our Senior Advisors. As a U.S. Senator,
he was given the nickname “Dr. No” for his consistent negative
votes against waste, fraud and unconstitutional overspending.
Dr. Coburn travels extensively speaking on behalf of Convention of
States. Pray for safety and stamina. Also pray for physical health
as he has suffered from cancer in the past. Ask God to preserve
and strengthen him.
Scripture of the Month
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
— Galatians 5:6
Lord, in this toxic political environment, it is so easy to be motivated by negative emotions, espe-
cially anger and fear. But we want to reflect your character which is rooted in love. We ask that
everything we do would come from a heart of love. First of all, and most importantly, we ask that
we would love you with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We ask that we would act in love
for our country, not just as a concept, but as real people who are loved by you. We ask for love for
our fellow COS patriots, and most difficult of all, that you would teach how to love our enemies.
