Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
May 2020
May Events and Requests
• Pray for the new OpenTheStates.com website, for beneficial attention from national media,
and for Mark Meckler and others as they represent the effort publicly. Pray for great fruit in
terms of new support and volunteers for COS.
• Pray for wisdom for state governors, mayors, and other officials who are making decisions
about the process of opening up the economy.
• As the restrictions begin to ease, pray that COS efforts will be able to regain momentum in
states that still have legislative sessions in progress.
Leadership Prayer Focus
David Schneider is a long-time Regional Director overseeing efforts in
a number of the Midwestern states.
David is active in the Open the States effort and asks prayer for clear
direction in advocating for constitutional rights in his home state of
Kansas as well as Michigan. Lift up the many politicians he interacts
with in his COS role, that he will communicate well with them and
they will have minds open to God’s will. Finally, he requests prayer for
the timely sale of his house.
Scripture of the Month
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
—Habakkuk 2:14
Father God, right now the earth is filled with anxiety, uncertainty, and the awareness of the
fragility of life. We know that you often bring us to the end of our own resources in order for us to
recognize your power, authority, and mercy. We ask you to show yourself strong throughout the
earth. Reveal yourself to those with humble, seeking hearts. Call your people to seek your face in
a deeper way, so that all those who call themselves by your name would be transformed into an
image of your glory that we reflect to the world.

Daily Prayer Guide for May 2020
1
There are events scheduled today to
protest the shutdowns. Pray for them to be
peaceful and for the participants to
demonstrate wisdom in their conduct.
2
Louisiana: pray for volunteer Paul
Salvaggio who has fallen ill with COVID-19.
3
Wisconsin: we are still hopeful of getting
a final vote in the Senate. Pray for key
Senators to come on board.
4
Claim Isaiah 40:31 for President Trump,
VP Pence, and the task force as they manage
all the aspects of the crisis.
5
Pennsylvania: join Regional Director
Susan Peters in giving thanks for the Senate
opposition to the Governor’s restrictions.
6
New Hampshire and Vermont: lift up the
legislative liaisons as they prepare
legislative survey information.
7
Today is the National Day of Prayer. Join in
praying the 2020 theme that God’s glory
would be seen across the earth (Hab. 2:14).
8
South Dakota: pray for the team efforts to
meet and interview new legislative
candidates before the June primary.
9
Claim Psalm 91:3-6 for medical staff in
the form of extra strength and super-natural
protection.
10 Vermont and Maine: pray for God to raise up
state directors for these states.
11 As restrictions begin to ease, ask for
wisdom for church leadership in handling
the logistics of services and ministry events.
12 Florida: pray for Gov. Ron DeSantis to
make wise, liberty-loving decisions about
how to ease restrictions.
13 Pray for believers to take advantage of
many opportunities to bless those in need
during the crisis.
14 On this day in 1787, the Constitutional Con-
vention began. Thank God for his gracious
providence in the creation of that document.
15 Pray for guidance and inspiration for
researchers who are working on vaccines
and treatments.
16 Many intrusions on liberty begin during
times of national crisis. Pray that Americans
will be constitutionally vigilant.
17 Claim Daniel 2:20-22 for those who
need insight into the dynamics surrounding
COVID-19.
18 Many intercessors see this crisis as a
time of divine shaking (Heb. 12:26-27). Call
on God to work his purposes in the nations
and pray that believers will walk in faith and
confidence.
19 South Dakota: pray for the right places to
be available to hold meet-ups and
educational forums.

575 active District Captains across COS

One or two “headliners” to come alongside Mark Meckler and share the load of speaking at

the right balance between the needs of the
community and the rights of the individual.

24 Pray for public officials to make
decisions for the good of the people, not
their own political benefit.

sacred honor to following in their footsteps.
