Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
July 2021
July Events and Requests
• Lift up the national staff meetings in Colorado, July 14-19. Ask God to grant wisdom,
discernment, and unity, and specifically guidance with regard to plans for adding staff to the
national team.
• Continue to pray for someone to share the load with Mark with regard to traveling, speaking,
and testifying. Ask God to sustain and protect Mark during the intensely busy times.
• There are many COS leaders who are experiencing serious illnesses. Ask God for healing and
for his comforting presence.
Leadership Prayer Focus
Pastor Chris Thomas is the new COS National Mentor Associate. He
teaches servant leadership and men’s Bible studies and offers one-on-one
discipleship for men involved in COS.
Pray God to give Chris wisdom and strength in his mentoring role and use
him to draw folks into a relationship with the Lord. Also pray for Chris’s
extended family as he lost his only sibling to suicide a few months ago. Ask God to pour out hope
and comfort, and especially lift up plans for a rememberance gathering happening in August.
Scripture of the Month
Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.
—Leviticus 25:10
Our Founding Fathers adopted this verse as an expression of the freedom they envisioned for
the United States of America. The Year of Jubilee that this verse announces is a beautiful
picture of the political freedom and economic opportunity that Americans have always valued,
and foreshadows the spiritual freedom offered in the Christian gospel.
Lord, we pray that political liberty, economic opportunity, and spiritual freedom would always
characterize America. We spiritually and prophetically join with our Founding Fathers in proclaim-
ing this across our nation, and also ask that you would continue to use the USA to share the
model of freedom and message of salvation to many nations around the world.
