Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
January 2021
January Events and Requests
• Pray for connections with newly-elected legislators and that they will be supportive of
Convention of States.
• We expect 2021 to be a big year for COS. Pray for wisdom for the leadership as the move-
ment is in new territory. The results of the election indicate good opportunities ahead.
• Keep Mark Meckler in your prayers as his travel schedule gets more intense moving into
2021. Ask that he will be able to have time with God in the midst of the pressures. Pray for
wisdom, discernment, and protection.
Leadership Prayer Focus
Jonathan Viaud is a new regional director overseeing the states that
have passed the COS resolution. Previously he served as state director in
New Jersey.
Pray for Jonathan to develop good relationships with the many teams in
the passed states. He asks prayer specifically for effective surge events
in these states over the next few months. Also pray blessings over his
family’s new home in Florida.
Scripture of the Month
We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love be upon us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
—Psalm 33:20-22
Father God, our nation is at a point of crisis. We confess that we have turned away from the godly
heritage you have blessed us with and turned to godless philosophies and the wisdom of man.
Now we are reaping the results in the form of contention, corruption, and violence. We are unable
to heal ourselves, Lord, but we are putting our trust in you. Grant us mercy and act on our behalf.
Thank you that your love is unfailing, and remind us to rejoice in that truth even when faced with
anxiety. We wait expectantly for you to bring your purposes to pass in our nation.

Daily Prayer Guide for January 2021
1
Happy New Year! Let’s commit our work and
volunteer efforts in 2021 to serve the Lord’s
purposes.
2
Pray for the get-out-the-vote efforts focused
on the Georgia run-off election. Pray that
Georgia citizens who love liberty will make
their voices heard.
3
Wisconsin: ask the Lord to touch two volun-
teers who need physical healing.
4
Wyoming: pray for Julie Baker’s father as he
recovers from a difficult bout with COVID.
5
Georgia: lift up the Senate run-off races today
as they will shape the balance of power in the
U.S. Senate.
6
Today the Electoral College votes are counted
in Congress. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you
in prayer. Also lift up protests that are hap-
pening in Washington and other locations.
7
Pray for newly elected legislators across the
country to support COS.
8
Massachusetts: ask God to raise up a legis-
lative sponsor worthy of the cause, as well
as co-sponsors.
9
There is on-going concern over electoral
fraud that has not been adequately ad-
dressed. Consider Isaiah 59:14-15 and pray
for truth and justice to prevail.
10 Delaware: pray for a dedicated state director
as well as continued growth in recruiting
district captains.
11 Pennsylvania: pray that the legislature will
gain courage and provide more than plati-
tudes about COS as they continue to receive
input from the grassroots.
12 Texas: give thanks for two new Grassroots
Coordinators and the immediate results the
team has seen from their efforts to reengage
volunteers.
13 Arkansas: pray for successful enrollment in
constitutional meetings which will start in
February. Also ask for wisdom for how to
organize regions to be managed by regional
captains.
14 South Dakota: continue lift up the letter
writing campaign as well as the need to fill a
number of district captain positions.
15 New Hampshire: Pray for the success of
“plan B” and encouragement for the LL team
as they press beyond a significant disap-
pointment (despite the “conservative” wave
that took over the legislature in November).
16 Louisiana: pray for success in making
contacts at a gun show in Bossier City today
and tomorrow.
17 Nevada: pray for active participation from
the grassroots as the team prepares for the
2021 legislative session. NV holds sessions
every two years so this is an important year.
18 On Martin Luther King’s birthday, pray
that America’s race relations will reflect the
biblical values that Dr. King preached.
Prayer Goals for 2020
•
Give thanks for the grassroots growth that we saw in 2020:
•
Added 176 active DCs (35% growth)
•
DC activity up 17%
•
Added 386 overall active leaders (41% growth)
•
Acted, learned, and adjusted in many ways through lockdowns, COVID, and
legislative setbacks.
19 Rhode Island: pray that God will open oppor-
tunities to teach about COS and the consti-
tution within this arid state. Pray for a new
sponsor for the resolution, and that last
year's sponsor, who has moved on in
responsibilities, will be amenable and able to
help the resolution move forward.
20 Today is Inauguration Day. Pray that God
will empower the President and his admin-
istration to serve his purposes.
21 Maine: give thanks for the answer to prayer
for a legislative sponsor and multiple co-
sponsors, as well as a state director. Pray
that this strong fledgling team will be effec-
tive and inventive as they build the team
and increase the number of sponsors.
22 Massachusetts: join SD Michael Arnold in
asking for dramatic increase in district
captains in the coming months.
23 Nevada: join the team in praying for wisdom
and energy in engaging the fight against the
movement away from religious faith in this
country.
24 New York: pray that the team will continue
to make solid inroads into the Democrat
legislators who represent them. Praise God
for the spirited COS NY team.
25 Maryland: pray for successful back surgery
today and healing for State Director Steve
Patten.
26 Wisconsin: lift up SD Joanne Laufenberg
and the WI team in the midst of greatly
increased legislative activity. Pray for local
teams to fill out across the state and
especially in target senate districts.
27 Arkansas: pray for the process of introduc-
ing the commissioning resolution and
getting it passed, and that it will solidify
support for COS and prevent rescission.
28 New Mexico: give thanks for the growth in
the grassroots supporter base and for a new
crop of district captains. Pray that these will
help bring about continued and accelerated
growth.
29 Florida: pray for a volunteer who had to
back away from COS involvement due to
health issues. Ask God for healing.
30 Vermont: lift up the small but mighty VT
team as they seek to grow under the tyranny
of a GOP governor.
31 Arkansas: give thanks that no one on the
team contracted COVID in 2020—and that
God is still on his throne in 2021!
