Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
February 2021
February Events and Requests
• Give thanks for the flood of new petition signers and volunteers! Pray that current volunteers
will be diligent in following up with all of them and not be overwhelmed.
• Pray specifically for legislative success in key states: WI, PA, MI, SC, NE, KS, IA.
• Pray for an expanded effort around women’s Bible study and one-on-one discipleship, and
for a new national staff member, Roslyn Weisenburger, who will be focusing on this.
Leadership Prayer Focus
This month let’s pray for Shirlee Meier, State Director for the great
state of South Dakota.
Shirlee asks prayer specifically for God’s guidance and wisdom in her
role as state director, so that she can in turn lead and guide the rest
of the SD leadership team and they can each find success in their
role. Also lift up the COS resolution HJR5001 as it comes before a
committee hearing in February. Ask God for great success in the
South Dakota Legislature in 2021!
Scripture of the Month
“Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern
between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?”
—1 Kings 3:9
This month as we celebrate Presidents’ Day, we think of the great leaders that you have blessed
us with in the past, Lord. We know that our nation would not exist were it not for the wisdom,
integrity, and leadership skills of men like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. And it has
been said that the dearth of great statesmen is the sign of the decline of a civilization. So Lord, we
ask you to raise up a new generation of skilled leaders for America—ones with discernment, de-
sire to serve, and above all, the understanding that they need spiritual and supernatural wisdom
in order to fulfill the role into which you would place them.

Daily Prayer Guide for February 2021
1
South Dakota: the COS resolution comes
up in committee today (or very soon!). Pray
that it will pass out of committee and keep
moving through the process.
2
New Mexico: pray for Keith Dotson who is
leading a Constitution Alive course.
3
Wisconsin: pray for more co-sponsors for the
COS resolution. Ask God’s blessing on the
upcoming committee meetings and pray that
many citizens will be present.
4
Lift up fellow COS prayer warriors and ask
that God will empower them in this work.
5
Connecticut: give thanks that the resolution
was filed in CT and pray for favor in the
legislature.
6
Maryland: the surgery for State Director
Patten has been postponed. Continue to pray
for effective treatment and healing for him.
7
Wyoming: pray for Deborah Karhel, suffering
from leukemia, and Connie Davis, awaiting
a medical diagnosis—pray that it will not be
cancer.
8
Conservative organizations Eagle Forum and
Concerned Women for America oppose COS.
Ask God to bless their efforts to strengthen
liberty, and pray that someday they will join
with us in support of COS.
9
New Hampshire: thank God for the resolve of
the executive team and pray that the
attitude permeates new volunteers and
supporters as the team builds..
10 California: pray for the team to fill all the
vacant leadership positions. Ask that the team
will be successful in reaching out to legislators
through on-line meetings.
11 Ask God to raise up “men of Issachar” in our
movement who understand the times and
know what COS should do—1 Chron. 12:32.
12 New York: lift up the COS presence at a gun
show in Newburgh over the next four days.
13 Pray for our 15 passed states to know how
to continue to build their teams.
14 Connecticut: ask God to meet a desperate
need for an SIA (techie expert).
15 Happy Presidents’ Day! Thank God for the
great statesmen in our past, and ask him to
raise up a new generation of leaders.
16 Maine: Pray for this enthusiastic young team
as they engage with their legislators to build
the legislative interest in their resolution,
LR1689.
17 Pennsylvania: pray that organizations
opposing PA's election law changes will rise
up so the COS team can take a supporting
role with them while continuing the primary
emphasis of our mission.
18 Vermont: Pray that the new leadership will
build relationships among themselves and
find creative ways to reach out in the
sparsely populated areas of their state.
19 Wyoming: the COS team will be introducing
the COS resolution for the fourth time this
year. Pray for a change of heart for many of
our legislators and that the COS message
will seep in rather than the fears of the John
Birch Society.
20 Rhode Island: Pray for the entire team as
several key volunteers have needed to take
leaves of absence. Pray that their work to
educate, particularly through social media,
finds growing success.
21 Virginia: pray that VA might bring back the
House of Delegates to people who will stand
for the rule of law and for the Constitution.
22 South Dakota: continue to pray for key
leadership roles to be filled.
23 Delaware: pray for a dedicated state director
as well as continued growth in recruiting
district captains.
24 Wisconsin: join State Director Joanne
Laufenberg in asking protection over the
team and for many new volunteers who
learn quickly and effectively.
25 New Mexico: Keith Dotson is a leader who is
wearing many hats, and he asks for volun-
teers to step up to take on some of his roles.
Also pray for success in his goal of filling the
DC role for all the NM legislative districts in
2021.
26 Ask God to clearly reveal to Americans the
bankrupt nature of economic and social
Marxism.
27 New York: Pray for a healing touch on the
lead grassroots coordinator, who has had to
step away for a time, and blessings on the
new grassroots team members as they step
into the role during this time of growth.
28 The problem of social media censorship has
the potential to affect the COS message.
Pray for a solution that reflects the princi-
ples of free speech, promotes integrity, and
respects the free market system.
“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of
Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and to
humbly implore his protection and favor.”
— George Washington
Happy Birthday, President Washington!
