Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
April 2020
April Events and Requests
• Lift up Mark Meckler, COS President, and his new podcast, The Mark Meckler Show. Give
thanks for the early success of the venture and ask God to bless him with great effectiveness
and impact.
• Pray for a new effort called COS Serves which has the goal of reaching out to legislators
during this time of crisis.
• Pray for all our state teams to make good use of this time of being slowed down and shut in
to continue to train and motivate volunteers.
Leadership Prayer Focus
Dennis Denton is a new Regional Director, overseeing efforts in
the western states. He previously served as State Director in Virginia.
Lift up Dennis as he learns the ropes of the regional director role and
for a fruitful time of participation in a Servant Leadership class with
other COS volunteers. He asks prayer for COS supporters who are
affected by the COVID-19 crisis, especially many senior citizens who
are in the high-risk category. Also pray for a State Director to replace
Dennis in Virginia.
Scripture of the Month
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
—I Cor 15:19-20
In this time of great anxiety and uncertainty, we are so blessed to know your hope, Father God.
We have hope not just for this life, which is what most people in the world around us are focused
on, but confidence of our eternal destiny. Help us to live today in light of that reality. Let the peace
that passes understanding guard our hearts and minds. Enable us to rejoice in your goodness
and truth regardless of our circumstances.

Daily Prayer Guide for April 2020
1
The COS community is grieving the loss of Dr.
Tom Coburn, our senior advisor. Thank God for
the impact of his life and the hope of heaven.
2
Wisconsin: we are still hopeful of getting
a final vote in the Senate. Pray for key
Senators to come on board.
3
Claim Isaiah 40:31 for President Trump,
VP Pence, and the task force as they manage
all the aspects of the crisis.
4
Pray for God’s comfort and peace for
those who have lost loved ones.
5
Virginia: pray for volunteers Barry and David
who are suffering from cancer.
6
Claim Psalm 90:12 for our nation—that
we would number our days with wisdom.
7
America needs educational movements that
honor God and value truth, liberty and the
Constitution. Also pray for the development
of educator and home-school coalitions
within COS.
8
Pray for extra strength and super-
natural protection for medical staff during
this time, according to Psalm 91:3-6.
9
Arkansas: lift up a new program to recruit
district captains.
10 There is so much unknown about both
the disease and the impact that various
courses of action might have. Claim Daniel
2:20-22 for those making decisions.
11 Pray for guidance and inspiration for
researchers who are working on vaccines
and treatments.
12 New Mexico: ask God to energize and renew
the COS team and grant wisdom to the state
leadership.
13 Many intrusions on liberty begin during
times of national crisis. Pray that Americans
will be constitutionally vigilant.
14 Ask God to raise up many courageous
statesmen to take the place of Dr. Coburn,
as well as a new senior advisor for COS.
15 Ask God to abundantly bless business-
es that have made adjustments to provide
medical resources and equipment.
16 Pray for believers to take advantage of
many opportunities to bless those in need
during the crisis.
17 California: lift up the transitional team that
is currently leading the COS effort, and pray
for a new state director.
18 Many intercessors see this crisis as a
time of divine shaking (Heb. 12:26-27). Call
on God to work his purposes in the nations
and pray that believers will walk in faith and
confidence.
19 Texas: lift up efforts to use a new on-line tool
to engage volunteers in community service.
Prayer Goals for 2020
• Here are the national team’s goals for grassroots leadership engagement:
•
575 active District Captains across COS
•
160 active Regional Captains
•
95 active Grassroots Coordinators
•
One or two “headliners” to come alongside Mark Meckler and share the load of speaking at
events and testifying in state legislatures
• A breakthrough in Eagle Forum's opposition to COS
20 Pray for government officials to find
the right balance between the needs of the
community and the rights of the individual.
21 Call on God to show his power in
miraculous healing and even resurrections
from the dead.
22 Pray for efforts to establish fasting teams
within COS, and for growth in the number of
prayer warriors.
23 Pray for churches to find creative
approaches to worship and ministry.
24 Pray for public officials to make
decisions for the good of the people, not
their own political benefit.
25 Georgia: successful training and develop-
ment of the new State Director.
26 Pray for wisdom about how and when to
release experimental drugs to the public.
27 Ask God to use the economic downturn
to confront materialism and increase faith in
his provision, according to Matthew 6:31-33.
28 Arkansas: ask God to raise up a Grassroots
Coordinator.
29 Pray for creative approaches for
businesses economically impacted by the
crisis.
30 Ask God to pour out a new Great Awakening
that will spread to the ends of the earth.
