Prayer Warriors
Battle Plan
April 2019
April Events and Requests
• The national staff will be holding strategy and training sessions in Midland, Texas in late
April. Ask God to bless them with safety, wisdom, and hearts to learn. Claim James 1:5!
• Continue to pray for Mark Meckler regarding his exhausting travel schedule during the
height of the legislative session (which lasts into June).
• The Ben Shapiro promotion has generated a terrific response and many skilled and enthusi-
astic volunteers. Pray for wisdom about whether to continue it beyond mid-April, and if so,
financial provision.
• Pray for a COS Christian Leaders Coalition to be established.
Leadership Prayer Focus
Judd Sloan is the new national Technical Support Manager. He is
responsible for overseeing the training and support of technical volunteers,
particularly State Information Analysts.
Since Judd began in this role in January, it has developed that his super-
visor will be moving to a different career position, requiring Judd to take on a
larger role. Pray blessings on him as he learns and fills this crucial position.
Scripture of the Month
I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory;
but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame.
— Psalm 44:6-7
This is a beautiful time of year when we celebrate Your great victories, Lord God. We remember
the victory of the Exodus of Your chosen people and Jesus’ victory over sin and death through His
resurrection. We remember that without Your power, we will never be able to achieve the victory
that pleases You and accomplishes Your purposes. Keep us from trusting our “bows and
swords”—our own abilities and resources. Give us faith to persevere through temporary setbacks.
Grant us victory that honors You and reflects Your glory to our nation and the world.
