Prayer Warrior Guide - August 2024
The Power of Prayer
“Duty is ours and the results belong to God”.
You’ve heard Mark say this about our work with Article V, and it is also true as a Prayer
Warrior. We are intercessors in our call of duty to pray for others, for our country, and bringing
hope. A prayer of faith is God’s will if it is based on scripture. We pray and have faith and He
keeps His promises. James 4:15 and 5:14-15.

successful in gathering petitions at the
different fairs occuring every day during the

for traveling mercies and wisdom with
guidance from God as we address the
needs for our state team's work and forward
growth.
4 National: Pray for our new Leaders
Launchpad program (a state level internship
for young leaders) as we work on promoting
the internship, for great young people to
apply, and for wisdom as we review
applications and interviews.
5 National: Prayers for the hearts of young
Americans who need to grow in purpose
and wisdom to be moved to apply to the
Emerging Leaders Program (a national level
internship for young leaders) before the
deadline on the 9th.
6 MI: Please pray that God would see His
will done in the Michigan state primaries on
August 6th.
7 SC: Continue to pray for the son-in-law of
South Carolina team member Chris Poyatt,
Nathaniel Bell. Nathaniel is being treated for
brain tumors.
8 AR: Pray that God will put a fire back into
the Arkansas team, and that God will send
volunteers to replace those who have
stepped back.
9 CO: Pray for many new petition signers at
a new event, the “Beef and Bean”
Celebration, tomorrow (8/10).
10 OR: Lift up all the fearless volunteers
who are out there bringing hope to the
nation and educating it about Article V and
the COSA movement amid all the chaos and
danger. “Father, bless us with unwavering
courage, fortify our spirits in the face of
adversity and grant us the wisdom to make
swift decisions that will keep us safe and out
of harm’s way so that we can return to our
homes safely each day that we are out there
spreading the message of hope to our fellow
countrymen and loved ones.”
11 National: Pray for the Emerging Leaders
Program Leadership Team as they interview
and select applicants for the 2024-2025
class of interns.
12 MI: Praise God for His faithfulness in all
situations. Pray that God would encourage
the COS Michigan team and make them of
one mind and one purpose.
13 KS: Pray for the health of volunteers
continuing to deal with the effects of COVID
and side effects of the COVID vaccine.
14 SC: Continue your prayers for South
Carolina team members Sam and Nadine
McDonald as they continue to face health
issues.
15 NC: Pray that the North Carolina Senate
Speaker calls a caucus for our resolution

Article 5 Convention so NC can be the 20th
passed state.
16 SD: Pray for a successful Educational
Presentation at the GOP monthly meeting in
Watertown, South Dakota.
17 CO: Pray that all of our volunteer
positions will be covered at the Colorado
State Fair starting on the 22nd. Pray
protection for those who are traveling to
participate, and pray for new leaders and
volunteers to come from this event.
18 MI: Pray that God would use the
Michigan Team as He used the army of
Gideon, that He would make little into
enough and that He would be glorified.
19 KS: Pray that volunteers would realize
the opportunity to grow the grassroots army
in this election season and step up to initiate
events, particularly home meetings.
20 NC: As we prayed in our prayer meeting
last month, pray for wisdom among the
North Carolina State Team members to
determine best strategies in encouraging
passage of our resolution before the 2024
window of opportunity closes.
21 OR: Let us pray for our children and
grandchildren in Oregon and other states
who are facing agendas that challenge
godly and family values. May families
remain united, seek strength in their faith,
and may the younger generation approach
biblical truths with an open mind, allowing
their hearts to embrace God's grace offered
to them.
22: “O Lord, I have so many enemies; so
many are against me. So many are saying,
‘God will never rescue him!’ But you, O
Lord, are a shield around me; you are my
glory, the one who holds my head high. I
cried out to the Lord, and he answered me
from his holy mountain.” (Psalm 3:1-4)
23: “O Lord, hear me as I pray; pay
attention to my groaning. Listen to my cry
for help, my King and my God, for I pray to
no one but you. Listen to my voice in the
morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my
requests to you and wait expectantly.”
(Psalm 5:1-3)
24: “O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name
fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the
heavens.You have taught children and
infants to tell of your strength, silencing your
enemies and all who oppose you.”
(Psalm 8:1-2)
25 KS: Continue to pray for a favorable
resolution of the lawsuit over passage of the
COS resolution in 2023.
26 MI: Pray for continued guidance with
regard to strategy, open doors, and that He
would soften more hearts in the legislature.
27 OH: Pray for all those working at the
Stark County Fair today through Sept. 2. For
many new petitions signed, safe travels, and
increased interest in COS by Ohioans.
28 NC: Pray for strength and endurance for
the whole North Carolina Team who have
been running heavy toward the finish line of
becoming the next passed state for many
years now. Pray that God helps them finish
well no matter how long it takes.
29: “Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my
cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine.
The land you have given me is a pleasant
land. What a wonderful inheritance! I will
bless the Lord who guides me; even at night
my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is
always with me. I will not be shaken, for he
is right beside me.” (Psalm 16:5-8)
30: “I am praying to you because I know you
will answer, O God. Bend down and listen
as I pray. Show me your unfailing love in
wonderful ways. By your mighty power you
rescue those who seek refuge from their
enemies. Guard me as you would guard
your own eyes. Hide me in the shadow of
your wings.” (Psalm 17:6-8)
31: “Show me the right path, O Lord; point
out the road for me to follow. Lead me by
your truth and teach me, for you are the
God who saves me. All day long I put my
hope in you. Remember, O Lord, your
compassion and unfailing love, which you
have shown from long ages past.”
(Psalm 25:4-6)
