Prayer Warrior Guide - April 2024
The Power of Prayer
Science has proven that our brains have a healing ability simply by controlling our thoughts
and words (Dr. Carolyn Leaf). The Word of God has told us this.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let
your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
Paul goes on to tell us in verses 8-9 what to meditate on “and the God of peace will be with
you.” Talk to your Heavenly Father and He will guard your heart and your mind.

Daily Prayer Guide for April 2024
1 - FL: Pray for the Florida Team as we
make decisions about our annual Strategy
Meeting. Pray we choose the right date,
time, and location. Pray for those who will
attend. Pray for the Lord to give us direction
on setting the agenda and all other details.
2 - OK: Pray for several of our team
members dealing with health issues. Pray
for their spirits to remain strong as they
focus on getting well and have to step back
from their involvement with COS. Pray that
God blesses them and brings them back to
the cause soon. And praise God for
answered prayers in one team member
being declared “cancer free”.
3 - ME: Pray for the Biblical Citizenship
class being held at Central Church in
Augusta, ME to benefit those in attendance
and our country.
4 - SC: Please continue to pray for the
health of team members Sam and Nadine
McDonald.
5 - CO: Pray for COS supporting candidates
to be successfully added onto primary
ballots through our state’s County and State
Convention processes. Pray for the CO
Republican Party to add COS as an official
part of the state party platform.
6 - MN: Pray for election integrity and ability
to clean our voter rolls. Pray for our
legislators, that they stand for the freedom
and liberty of all citizens.
7 - ID: Pray for the perseverance of our
team as we experienced a win and loss in
this year’s legislative session. We passed
the Senate committee for the first time but
didn’t get a vote on the floor. Pray God
binds our team together as we strategize
and prepare for the 2025 legislative
session.
8 - NC: Pray for Regional Captain Jeff Groh
still enduring through cancer treatments.
9 - WI: Pray for Legislative Liaison and
State Information Analyst Dave Certa, who
has served COS faithfully for many years
and is now experiencing health problems.
Pray for endurance and a return to full
health.
10 - KS: Pray for a favorable decision in the
federal court case “Thompson v.
Masterson”. This case seeks an official
ruling that a simple majority vote was
sufficient for passage of our Article V
application in Kansas, since the existing
Kansas Constitutional requirement for a
supermajority vote violates the U.S.
Constitution.
11 - SC: Continue to pray for the son-in-law
of Chris Poyatt who is battling brain tumors.
12 - ID: Pray for wisdom as we decide which
candidates to focus our efforts on in the
upcoming primary election in Idaho for State
Legislators in May.
13 - OR: Pray for safe travels and
productive time together at our first full team
meet up for 2024 today. Pray it is a bonding
and joyful time together.
14 - NC: Pray for the passing of our
resolution in the remaining short legislative
session.
15 - FL: Pray that God gives clarity and
discernment in the many tasks of each
leader. That God raises the most important
tasks for our mission to the forefront.
16 - CO: Pray for many blessings for our
team and across the country during this
season celebrating the resurrection of our
Lord and that we all place our trust and
confident expectations on Him.
17 - IL: Pray for our Surge Day/Citizen’s
Action Day at the Springfield, IL capital
today (4/17). Pray for softened hearts on
both sides of the aisle. Pray for protection
for our legislators and all those involved in
governing our state from the forces of evil
fighting against revival in IL and beyond.
18 - KS: Pray for the health of our state
team volunteers and all COS volunteers.
19 - ID: Pray for one of our very active
volunteers, Trish, who is suffering from
severe arthritis. Pray for relief.
20 - NC: Pray for the uplifted morale of the
whole NC Team.
21 - WI: Pray for our very active State
Leadership Team member Kimberly
Strohrigl, she has had some serious health
issues recently and is currently recovering.
22 - WY: Pray for our State Legislators, that
they may receive rest after a very
contentious session and open hearts and
minds for those who oppose COS. Pray for
courage to replace fear currently gripping
them.
23 - FL: Pray for our State Director as she
meets increasing speaking demands and
needs of our COS donors in Florida. Pray
God guides her words and actions.
24 - WA: Pray for Washington’s State team
who is currently without a State Director and
Grassroots Coordinator. Pray that God
leads volunteers to step up and rallies the
team together.
25 - CO: Pray for our Capitol Rally today
(4/25) to be the largest one yet. Pray for
safe travels and good weather for those
making their way to Denver and for our
volunteers to be motivated to become more
engaged in promoting COS in CO.
26 - WY: Pray for all our Wyoming
volunteers as they do their roles for COS
and meet unfriendly opposition. Pray they
remain calm and gracious in the face of
adversity and for many blessings as they do
their tireless work.
27 - KS: Pray for our State Team in pivoting
to being a passed state and to maintain our
enthusiasm to continue growing the
grassroots army.
28 - SC: Continue to pray for Regional
Director Grant Martin and his family as they
continue grieving the loss of his wife back in
November 2023 and his father earlier this
year.
29 - FL: Pray for continued open doors to
gun shows and other indoor venues across
our state, especially as the weather gets
hotter and less safe for our volunteers to
work in.
30 - OK: Pray for our State Legislators who
are working in an increasingly toxic
environment. Pray that they remain focused
on their calling to serve their constituents
and protect them from evil attacks aimed at
disturbing that focus. Pray that God
removes those who have hearts bent on evil
and replace them with effective servant
hearted leaders.
