Congratulations! Your state has successfully passed the COS Resolution, calling for an Article V Convention of States!

However, there is more you can do to support Convention of States and our mission to build an army of self-governing grassroots activists across the nation!

Below are a few resources detailing ways to get involved in your passed state!

Our COS Mission: Build an Engaged Army of Self-Governing Grassroots Activists.

Our COS Goal: Hold a meeting of the states, a Convention of States, according to Article V of the United States Constitution to reign in our runaway federal government to 1. Propose term limits 2. Impose Fiscal restraints, and 3) Reduce the size and power of the federal government.

Our Transcendent or Aspirational Goal is to have a spiritual and political awakening of our citizenry.

LINKS FOR LEADERS

Build relationships with your state legislators.

Complete and share a Passed States Petition! Just because your current legislators support the COS Project does not guarantee that they always will! Additionally, as legislators retire and new legislators take their place, grassroots activists like yourself must reach out to them and encourage them to support the movement to call a Convention of States.
Write letters to your state legislators. Sending hand-written, personalized notes to lawmakers can be incredibly impactful, especially if they do not yet support the COS Project! You can find instructions on how to write these letters, along with several sample templates, at this link.

Support neighboring pending states..

Look for COS events in neighboring states where you can attend and/or volunteer! From participating in surge days at the Capitol to volunteering at COS booths at various state events, states which have not passed the resolution can greatly benefit from having fellow activists support them in their efforts!
Become a TelePatriot Volunteer. Even as a member of a passed state, you can play a big role in pending states by making a few calls from the comfort of your home! To learn more about how to use the TelePatriot tool in the COS Action app, check out the video below:

Take a free online course at COS University to expand your knowledge of Article V and the Convention process. There are courses on the history of Article V, volunteering, and responding to opposition, just to name a few!

Connect with your state team.

Apply to become a volunteer activist! This is the first step to getting connected with the grassroots team in your state. There are so many ways for volunteers to get involved. Once your volunteer application is accepted, check out this list of activities that you can take part in as a volunteer activist!
