OUR LEGISLATIVE GOALS
1. Ensure Michigan is ready for an Article V Convention by passing:
- Commissioner Selection Resolution
(Model Language)
To establish how commissioners will be selected to represent Michiganders at an Article V convention, how commissioners will receive instructions, and the limits on a commissioner's authority.
- Criminal Penalty Bill (Model Language)
To establish criminal penalties for an attempt to coerce a commissioner or for a commissioner that attempts to act outside of the authority given to them by the Michigan State Legislature.
2. To make Michigan one of the 34 states calling for an Article V Convention by passing:
- Convention of States Resolution

A resolution petitioning Congress to call an Article V Convention for the purpose of proposing amendments that:
- Impose Fiscal Restraints on the Federal Government
- Establish Term Limits on Federal Officials
- Reduce the Size/Jurisdiction of the Federal Government
