Attention District 23

Your State Representative, J.D. Wangsness, needs some encouragement from constituents to support HJR 5001 - The Convention of States resolution adding South Dakota to the effort already passed by 15 states and championed by major conservative figures and thought leaders like Mark Levin, Lt. Col Allen West, Tim Barton from WallBuilders, Sean Hannity, Ben Shapiro, and MORE!

Call at 605-853-3493 right now, and ask (politely) to stand up against the Democrats (including Hillary Clinton) that are opposing this effort!

Talking points:

  • Identify yourself including that you are a constituent
  • HJR 5001 is the resolution number
  • 15 States have already passed this exactly worded resolution including TX, OK, FL, IN, AZ, AK, AR, MS, AL, GA, MO, ND, UT, TN, LA
  • The opposition uses scare tactics to get Republicans to oppose
  • The process is in the Article V of the Constitution
  • We want to place further limits on the size of the federal government and get the beast back in the box the Framers intended it to stay in
  • Term Limits on Congress is only going to come from this process
  • The debt in DC is out of control, and this is the only process that can get a Balanced Budget Amendment
  • The convention can only propose amendments, the states still have to ratify any proposal
  • We must act now!
  • Be polite!
  • Thank for service to South Dakota and to your district

Please send a quick email to State Director Shirlee Meier with any feedback you get regarding your conversation with your State Representative.
