Upcoming NC Legislative Events in your Area
The NCGA is preparing once again to reassign voting districts in NC and the House Redistricting and Senate Redistricting and Elections Committees are hosting Town Hall meetings across NC this upcoming week.
The following Town Hall meetings have been scheduled across the state:
- 9/25/23, 4:00 p.m. - the College of Albemarle, Elizabeth City campus
- 9/26/23, 4:00 p.m. - the Atrium Room at the Hickory campus of Appalachian State University
- 9/27/23, 4:00 p.m. - the NC General Assembly, Legislative Building, 16 West Jones Street.
We'd love to have a cadre of COS supporters, wearing your white COS t-shirts, in attendance at these meetings.
If you have any interest in speaking in support of the upcoming redistricting, I encourage you to go to www.ncleg.gov and register in advance to be a speaker. The link to speak can be found in the lower right portion of their home page.
