Anyone want to keep their tax cuts?
Congress cut taxes on millions of Americans early in the Trump administration. The media was aghast and skeptical. How could this be? Everyone was used to the idea that our involuntary payments to the government would always be a thing.
Wouldn’t it be nice to take away Washington’s power to increase spending on items that don’t fall within a predetermined budget that We the People set for them?
Under that scenario it wouldn't matter which political party won. Our bank accounts would be in tact, because we gave Congress a checking account instead of a credit card.
That would probably cut back a few years in the political career department. If they want more, let them open their own pocketbooks.
