An informational training meeting was hosted by the El Paso Convention of States team at Casita Linda restaurant on Saturday, June 9th.
Texas interim State Co-Directors Tamara Colbert and Paul Hodson gave a presentation to the group of 20 or so supporters and leaders, focusing on growing the grassroots and keeping people engaged in the political process now that the Texas legislature has passed our resolution.
Regional Captain, Tom Reynolds was awarded a COS Challenge Coin for his service to the people of El Paso and Texas in a Facebook Live presentation.
“Tom Reynolds exemplifies the Convention of States Mission and works tirelessly building the grassroots army in the greater El Paso area. As a business executive, Tom understands the need for less government interference and less federal intrusion. As a Regional Captain, Tom puts in the time needed to make a difference—and answered the call on multiple occasions during the 85th legislative session in 2017, making the 8 hours+ roadtrip to Austin to be part of the grassroots army on site. He continually demonstrates the self-starter initiative of a grassroots activist and self-governing citizen, with humility, and inspires his team members to follow his lead. Thank you, Tom, for exemplary servant leadership for the Convention of States Project,” stated Tamara Colbert and Paul Hodson.
