Earlier this week we were treated to a visit by COS Co-Founder Michael Farris as he testified in our committee hearing. Other Hoosiers from around the state including Purdue college students testified as well. The committee members listened and and gave us a resounding 9-3 victory!
As we head into our final vote for the Convention of States to pass in Indiana, please take one last step and call your legislator asking him/her to vote YES on SJR14. Make sure your legislator knows that your voice must be heard in this era of government overreach. Check here to find your state legislator's contact information. The opposition is peddling fear and misinformation during the last few days, but we must be true to our heritage and let courage rule the day. Volunteers have worked hard for months to get us this far, but constituents are the ones with real power. Please make sure to make that quick phone call or email!
Please join your fellow COS supporters at the Indiana Statehouse on Monday, Feb 29th to witness this historic occasion. The session begins at 1:30 pm with other bills being voted on before SJR14. Please see the agenda here. Our numbers will show our lawmakers that we are watching them and they will be accountable for this vote to secure our liberty.
