Position Overview
As a Data Analyst at Convention of States, you’ll be an integral part of a high-performing multi-department team. You live for data and are constantly crunching the numbers, looking for trends and ways to improve results, including sales and profitability. You’re never satisfied with “good enough” and strive to find ways to improve. If there’s a needle in a haystack, you dive in and don’t come up until you’ve found it.
You’re not afraid to upend the usual way of doing things if you’ve found a new way of doing it better - and you can prove it. You are able to distill complex data into simplified, easy-to-understand reports that non-data pros can understand, then you present a plan of action to improve. You collaborate with liaisons in each department to ensure that we get the information that best serves us.
You test, test, and test again. When you’re satisfied you’ve tested enough, you do it one more time. You are relentless in tracking projects and following through when others may be moving on to other things.
You love working with a team, but are disciplined enough to work on your own, exploring new ways to use data to the advantage of the organization.
If this sounds like you, what have you been waiting for? Apply today and become part of the movement that is making history!
