COS North Carolina Capitol Surge
Wed., June 28th, 10:30 to 2:30
Join us tomorrow Wed., 6/28 on Halifax Mall, 300 N. Salisbury Street to let members of the Senate know we want action on HJR 235. Mark Meckler will be joining us to meet with key Senators and to celebrate you, our volunteers.

Show Your Patriotism!
Our 4th of July celebrations are just around the corner so take a little time this week-end to create a patriot poster in the support of HJR 235. We'll share our signs with legislators walking between the Legislative Office Building and the Legislative Building. Mark Meckler will join us sometime that morning to judge our signs recognizing the sign that shows the most patriotism! The winner will receive a small gift basket with a variety of patriotic items!!! (No pickets to hold up the signs please!!)
Help Us Make TP Calls!!
We've launched 8 missions to call COS petition signers of 8 key Senators who have committed to advocate for our resolution among their colleagues in the Senate. If you've not made TP calls before and can help us over the next few days, please reach out to John Slothower at john.slothower@cosaction.com for help getting set up.
Join Us for Lunch with Mark Meckler
Mark Meckler will join us for lunch from 1:00 to 2:00 in the Legislative cafeteria in the basement of the Legislative Building at 16 W. Jones Street. Don't know where it is, no worries… plenty of volunteers can direct you there!
As special recognition, the 5 COS volunteers who make the most TP calls as part of the missions referenced above, who can join also us for the Capitol Surge, will be given the opportunity to sit with Mark at lunch!!

State Government Visitor Lot #2 - 333 N. Salisbury Street - From this lot, cross N. Salisbury St and walk south until you see the brick staircase outside the Legislative Office Building on your left. Halifax Mall is at the top of the staircase.
State Government Parking Deck - 329 N. McDowell Street - From this parking lot, exit to Lane Street and walk east. Turn right on N. Salisbury Street. After crossing Lane St, the Legislative Office Building will be on your right. Halifax Mall is at the top of the staircase at the corner of Lane St. and N. Salisbury St.
