COS National Update:
Saving America is not a fight that will be won in
the big cities along the coastline.
COSA co-founder and president Mark Meckler
is saddling up with constitutional scholar Rick
Green to spread the word about how the Wild
West can tame the reckless federal
government, reclaim self-governance, and
rescue the republic.

’l Last Month:
Are you tired of waiting for the Biden
Administration to do something about the
rapidly evolving crisis at our Southern border?
It’s one of the
most pressing issues our country faces today.
Our federal government’s failure to solve this
humanitarian crisis has led to an
unprecedented surge of illegal immigration, an
influx of fentanyl, and a rise in human
trafficking.
And after three years of steadfast inaction from
the Biden administration, the American people
are desperate for a solution.
But here’s
something you may not know. Calling an
Article V convention offers an attainable
solution to Biden’s border problem.
That’s right – Convention of States has
developed a plan that will actually work to
secure America’s southern border.
If you’re wondering how it works, we’ve put
together a helpful guide that explains how an
Article V convention can help solve America’s
border catastrophe.
We invite you to check it
out
– in addition to answering your own
questions, this information will help arm you
against the flood of misinformation coming
from the progressive left.

YOU ARE THE BOSS!! Act like it!!!
Elected officials represent our community and
our interests, so let them know who you are
and what you care about! Take time to
introduce yourself and your organization to
public officials serving your community
–
including both federal and state
representatives.
Make an appointment and discuss:
1- Their stance on Convention of States.
2- What Bills they are working on that COS
could possibly get behind and support.
3- Notify your District Captain, or Regional
Captain, or Legislative Liaison with the
results after contacting them.

In Loving Memory:
Richard Knapp
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of
Richard Knapp. Although he was only involved
with the Convention of States Utah team for a short
period of time, he made a tremendous impact and
was on his way to becoming the leader of the team.
Richard signed up to become a District Captain.
And then he
also accepted the position of Regional Captain,
where he agreed to train, assist, and supervise
multiple captains in legislative districts.
In December
2022, he organized a meeting at a coffee shop to
hand write Christmas cards for each of the Utah
state legislators.
Then, in
January 2023, Richard helped the team arrange a
visit to the state capitol to meet and educate
legislators about Convention of States.
We were crushed to learn of Richard’s cancer
diagnosis and continued to pray for his health up
until the moment that we learned of his passing.
It was an honor to work with and know Richard, and
we pray that our loving God blesses you, his family
and friends, with His mercy and comfort during this
difficult time. To his family, we also thank you for
allowing Richard to dedicate so much of his time to
our cause.
At the very end of the Declaration of Independence,
our Founding Fathers wrote that they pledged their
“lives, fortunes, and sacred honor” to each other.
Richard also dedicated his own life, fortune, and
sacred honor to all of us within the COS movement,
and we will be forever grateful for his commitment
to his state and his country.
With love and admiration,
Joyce Berry, Assistant Regional Director,
Convention of States Action
And
Jonathan Viaud, Regional Director,
Convention of States Action
