COS National Update:
Join Mark Meckler & experts to discuss
gov. land grab agenda:
A vitally important grassroots event concerning property
rights and gigantic overreach by the federal government
featuring COSA co-founder and president Mark Meckler
and experts in land policy is taking place on the evening
of February 28.
The
“30×30 Agenda” event will examine a climate
policy executive order issued in Jan. 2021 by the Biden
administration which directs various agencies of the
executive branch to take steps to “conserve” at least
30% of U.S. land and resources by 2030 – 50% by
2050.

COS Nat
’l Last Month:
We are getting close - Idaho officially filed the COS
Resolution and then swiftly held a hearing with
passionate testimonies from Senator Rick Santorum and
a room full of grassroots supporters, ultimately passing
the legislation through committee with a vote of 6-3.
We
are getting close! In a noteworthy development,
Massachusetts is once again embracing its historical
legacy as the cradle of American liberty. The joint
committee on Veterans & Legal Affairs in MA, composed
of 13 Democrats and 3 Republicans, has successfully
voted in favor of the COS Resolution! This significant
achievement underscores our ability to bridge political
divides and gain support from legislators on both sides
of the aisle
— unity that will be essential when it comes
time to call the Convention and propose amendments
with broad enough support to be ratified by 38 states.
The Convention of States movement is becoming
a unifying force among Americans, bringing
“We the
People” together to pursue our shared objective of
reining in the federal government's corruption and
protecting the precious freedom that defines our great
nation.

here in Utah, utilizing COS volunteers and
Article V of our divinely inspired constitution.
We will have some lively conversations about
freedom and the love we have for our country

Monthly Spotlight:

COS Title: Regional Captain, Northern Utah

City current living in: West Haven, Utah
Favorite Hobbies: Family, Liberty, Guns &
Travel (In that order)
What brought you to COS (Your Why): I see
our country in a Cold Civil War. I am sick of seeing the
country that I love, fought for, sacrificed for, and pay
nearly half of my income to, being used by elites in our
government to get rich, take away our liberties and
purposefully divide our nation. I wanted to find a cause
that had the people, the influence and the traction to try
to solve my concerns in a non-violent manner; I found
COS and dove in headfirst.
Inspirational thought: A popular quote from
founding father Ben Franklin is “ A republic…….if you can
keep it.” answering a question after the constitutional
convention, “Well Dr. Franklin, do we have a monarchy
or a republic?” But not as popular of a quote comes from
the continued conversation, “And why not keep it?”
Franklin responds “ Because the people, on tasting the
dish, are always disposed to eat more of it than does
them good.”
More about You: Originally a “Florida Man”, I
joined the UASF and served 20 yrs and retired as a
Senior Non-commissioned Officer and it was the
USAF that brought me to Utah. I'm Married to my
beautiful 20-year partner in crime, have two kids
both currently 13 yrs old and 8 months apart (I'll let
your gears grind on that). I also have my 22 year
old nephew living with us while he figures out the
meaning of life.
