Utah Last Month:
In-Person recurring monthly meetings:
Debra Peterson-Warnas held a
multi-House District (HD) and Regional meeting at:
IHOP, 10815 South State Street, Sandy, Utah on
June 14th (the 2nd Wednesday of each month)
at 5:30 to 6:30 pm
– We had a group of some of
our COS District Captains (DC’s) and likeminded
people meeting together to discuss our ideas on
how to progress this grass roots movement here in
Utah, utilizing COS volunteers and Article V of our
divinely inspired constitution. We had some lively
conversations about freedom and the love we have
for our country and constitution.
Mary Wenner held her House
District (HD)-44 meeting at:
Village Inn, 11454 District Drive, South Jordan on
June 15th (the 2nd Thursday of each month) at 7:00
to 8:00 pm. She had a couple of new people join
her meeting with good potential to volunteer and
become leaders in COS.
If you have scheduled your House District (HD)
In-Person meetings and would like me to
announce them in the COS monthly newsletter
just let me know. Thank you

Legislative Liaison:
Be sure to contact your Legislators -
Elected officials represent our community and
our interests, so let them know who you are
and what you care about! Take time to
introduce yourself and your organization to
public officials serving your community
–
including both federal and state
representatives.
Make an appointment and discuss:
1- Their stance on Convention of States.
2- What Bills they are working on that COS
could possibly get behind and support.
3- Notify your District Captain, or Regional
Captain, or Legislative Liaison with the
results after contacting them.
