The Events Coordinators (EC) are tasked with helping other volunteers to plan for and hold events. Your presence at these functions is optional and your activities will be occasional and usually seasonal. Most public events are held during the Spring and Summer in Missouri.

You answer directly to the State Director and you will not usually have access to the Citizen Builder database. Any communications to the public regarding upcoming events will be handled by the volunteers holding the event and the State Communication Coordinators, as needed.

You should have been assigned an cosaction email account and it is strongly recommended that you use this when communicating with both volunteers and external contacts.

Convention of States Resources:

COS University has two required courses for the ECs:

LG 100 - Convention of States Legal Training

COS 400 - Leadership and Activism

You may find this information useful also:

SGC 100, Module 3, Units 1 thru 3

It is strongly recommended that you take all the public courses and you are welcome to take any other courses listed.

The following links are divided between the ones which are applicable to all Passed States and the ones which are specific to Missouri.

Please note that many of these resources are also applicable to states still working towards their resolutions.

**Passed States Activities & Resources** This page and the linked pages applies to assigned-role volunteers but some of the information is available to share with the public.
