On May 2-3, 2016, the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) hosted a private event, promoting the Convention of States and Article V, for other like minded State policy organizations around the nation.

Convention of States leaders Mark Meckler and Michael Farris were invited to present the Convention of States Project.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott added his voice of experience in fighting the federal government, with his conclusion that the only real solution is to restore the foundation of the rule of law (the Constitution) through an Article V convention.

Michael Farris, head of the Convention of States Project, addressed the assembled policy leaders, encouraging them with his personal journey getting involved with the Convention of States.  Mark Meckler, founder and president of Citizens for Self-Governance, followed by sharing the inspirational story of Senator Tom Coburn, who is now the Senior Advisor to the Convention of States Project.
