The COS resolution HJR 235 passed the NC House on March 8th of last year. We are now preparing for the legislative session in the spring of 2024 to pass HJR 235 in the Senate to become the 20th state to pass the resolution. 

There are multiple candidates running for your North Carolina House District 94. We need you to contact these candidates:

  3. Are you familiar with the Convention of States and what we want to accomplish to rein-in an out-of-control federal government using Article V of the U.S. Constitution? If not, you can visit our website at www.conventionofstates.com for more information. 
  4. HJR 235 is the current COS resolution that specifies the three amendment topic areas including term limits on federal officials, imposing fiscal restraints and limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government. Do you support those concepts? 
  5. Would you vote for HJR 235 if elected? We will be sending a survey to you soon that will allow you to express your commitment to do that. 
  6. A representative from COS in North Carolina has or will be reaching out to answer questions. Are you willing to talk with them and get your questions answered?
