===== Welcome to Convention of States California ===== |
We are a grassroots army of 150,000+ patriots in California, dedicated to ensuring that the important decisions, are made as close to home as possible. We believe that local voices make better choices for our communities, neighborhoods, and schools. Washington, D.C.'s one size fits all style of governance, doesn't work for a state as diverse as California. Where each county, town, and community has different cultures, different ideas, and different priorities on issues of policy.
Our mission is to educate the citizens of California about Article V for the purpose of restoring self-governance to the people of the state. Our goal is to join those states that have already passed in calling a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress. Sign the petition and join us!

![]() == Kimberly Hogan, State Director == | > “California has a rich history of using Article V and the Resolution process to hold Washington D.C. accountable. Our Legislature used to know full well the power & authority it has, and they exercised it often. So why not now? California needs to stand up and lead the effort to limit Washington's time, money, and power.” Sign our petition and be part of the solution. |
