Organizational Overview

The Convention of States Project comprises both a 501©(3) entity, Convention of States Foundation and a 501©(4) entity, Convention of States Action.

Build a strong, engaged grassroots army of self-governing activists. 


Position Overview

This Data Researcher will be working within the Development Dept. with a team of other researchers, although virtually. The successful candidate will work independently, but will be supported with all the tools and systems to complete the job assignments. This is an entry level position and can be accomplished in 20-29 hours a week with the scheduled hours being very flexible.

Requirements

• COS supporter
• Liberty-minded political ideology
• Computer access

Skills

Computer Skills

• Must be comfortable working in Google Sheets and Excel
  

• Must be detail-oriented
  

• Salesforce or another database/CRM is a huge + but not mandatory

Critical Thinking Skills

• Exhibits good judgement and decision-making.

Collaboration Skills

• Interact with other staff members in a virtual working environment.

Project Management Skills

• Meet goals and manage the project efficiently with attention to detail.
  

Aptitude to expand into: 

Being that this is an entry level position, high performance in this role will allow for expansion into many other positions in COS.
 
Additionally, the candidate must be highly loyal and trustworthy with a history of working in an environment where sensitive information is protected.
