**A Thanksgiving Message from State Director Greg Clements**

As we approach Thanksgiving, it is important to appreciate the many blessings that we have experienced throughout our lives. 

One of those blessings that we should all agree on is the very celebration of Thanksgiving itself, because it gives us all the formal opportunity to be humble and thankful. We should be humble and thankful every day of our lives, and yet hubris and entitlement have crept into our consciences and often prevent that.

You can add this to the list of many fronts where the battle between good and evil is waged.\\

**Tennessee Volunteers Step Up**

The last State Director's Meeting of the year was a resounding success, with 25 in attendance to support the Convention of States movement. The meeting was held in Jackson TN, at the VFW Hall.

VFW veterans were in attendance to learn more about our our movement. Tennessee is helping to change the political narrative, one new informed volunteer at a time!

**Save the Date: January 14, 2020**

Preparations are underway for our Surge Day with the Tennessee legislature. This day will be spent visiting with our representatives, thanking them for their continued support of our passed COS resolution, and introducing new representatives to the COS grassroots supporters within their own districts in our state.

It's a perfect time to introduce yourself! Don't worry if this is your first time to meet your representatives. Your state team will be partnering with you. Make plans to join us for this exciting day to interact with our elected officials.
