**We've done it!**

The Convention of States Project's application was officially filed in the Rhode Island legislature!\\

Representative Arthur Corvese filed the application, seeking an amendment-proposing convention of the states to restore our Republic. Its official title is Joint Resolution Respectfully Requesting a Convention of the States under Article V of the United States Constitution

In conformity with the resolutions filed in 48 other states, to date, and already passed in 19 states, HR 5188 sets the agenda of the meeting to consider amendments that "impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office for its officials and for members of Congress."\\
