Because of its fluid nature, it seeks the path that flows least restricted. Likewise, electricity generally finds its pathway moving between two points, traveling with the least obstruction between them. [[https://tonijolene.com/2020/08/14/the-path-of-resistance/|Continue reading.]]        Enjoy this cool video explaining Convention of States and cake-making! John has been instrumental in bringing many new volunteers onto the Tennessee team. He is a valuable resource in the areas of recruiting, education, and training. We are excited to have John on the state leadership team, as we grow engaged COS activists in Tennessee! Please join us in congratulating John.\\ \\ **Our Growth Explosion** COS Tennessee is seeing amazing growth. We now have over 46,000 petition signers. We passed the COS resolution in 2016, making us one of 15 states to join. But our work did not end there. We need you! We need District Captains, who will connect COS volunteers in their district. We need Regional Captains, who assist the DCs). We are also recruiting social media warriors, Facebook editors, videographers, writers, legislative connectors, and tech-savvy volunteers who believe in the right of Americans to enforce their constitutional rights. \\ The past few months have shown us all the critical importance of engaging in our own governance not just at the federal level, but also at the state and city level. After all, this is where much of the overreach touches our lives most directly.  **Upcoming Events**  **August 29, 2020 - COS Tennessee State Strategy Meeting**\\ * 431 Dejarnette Lane, Murfreesboro TN, 37130 (Calvary Baptist Church)\\ * 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  \\ * Note: This event is limited to the COS Tennessee state team, including those who hold a role or have signed the Volunteer Agreement. Reserve your spot, as capacity is limited!
