**Legislative Pledge**

As a current or future Texas elected official, I pledge to support S.J.R. No. 2 85(R) applying to Congress for an Article V convention to propose amendments that would impose **fiscal restraints** on the federal government, **limit the power and jurisdiction** of the federal government, and set **term limits** for federal officials and members of Congress.

Furthermore, during the 89<sup>th</sup> Regular Session of the Texas Legislature, I pledge to support the repeal of S.J.R. No. 38 85(R), which calls for the cancellation of S.J.R. No. 2 after its eighth anniversary of passage.
