Unfortunately, that freedom is slowly slipping away from us. Now, we each must decide what kind of nation we will be — not only for ourselves but also for the next generation.\\

It would be irresponsible of us not to do our utmost to ensure our kids and grandkids enjoy the same freedoms we grew up with. Sometimes, in moments of despair, we begin to wonder if we have become too self-seeking to concern ourselves with the future of this nation. Perhaps we have lost faith that America is worth fighting for. Perhaps our country’s best days are behind us.\\

But then we look at you, the grassroots, and we realize that hope is not lost. Hope is not lost because //you //have not surrendered it. \\

We cannot afford to wait. Freedom may be lost in our generation if we do not do something about it. We must stage the great American Comeback — //today//. Not when we have the time for it. Not when it’s convenient. Not next year. \\
