Jesus Christ declared to the woman at the well, “… for salvation is from the Jews.” (John 4:22)\\

The Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was born a Jew, a descendant of Abraham. Time is marked from the time of his birth and countless songs have been written about Him. The Old Testament points to Him and the New Testament reveals our salvation through Him. His written Word has endured for thousands of years and has been published more than any other writings. The world and the universe center on Jesus, and His enemies fear His name.  Being the creator of all things, He alone declares what is a value and what is a deficiency, and His natural law as well as His written Word lets us know the difference.\\
\\
Slipping Off the Foundation\\
\\
If America is to return to its glory days, it must once again revere Judeo-Christian values. These values include temporal and eternal life, liberty, justice, mercy, honor, respect for self and others, boundaries, a giving heart, a strong military, and truth. These values have been exchanged for deficiencies.\\
\\
The United States of America has stood as the most protected, peaceful, and prosperous nation on earth because of its foundation of and adherence to these values. It is only of late that these values have been sorely neglected and deficiencies have been embraced to the detriment of the nation. We have gone from being protected, peaceful, and prosperous to being exposed, troubled, and diminished:\\
\\
Death through abortion, euthanasia, drug overdose, and suicide are cataclysmic.\\
\\
Liberty has been exchanged for misperceived security by allowing the government to take unconstitutional authority.\\
\\
Justice and mercy have been measured using dishonest weights. Obvious wrongdoing, especially at high levels of government, is ignored while those protesting such behavior are prosecuted.\\
\\
Dishonor and disrespect are shown against the country, against God, and against self which was made in His image. Instead of standing and pledging allegiance to the flag, it is dishonored by the taking of a knee and by allowing a counterfeit national anthem at public gatherings. The display of the righteous commands of God are prohibited on public property lest these commands be observed. The image of God in His created beings is degraded through immodesty, profanity, and skin used as a canvas.\\
\\
Boundaries have been removed from morals and from national sovereignty.\\
\\
Giving to those in need has been usurped by our government. Our time and money spent earning enough to pay excessive taxes is taken from us and determined by the government where it will be given.\\
\\
Our military has been weakened not from defending America, but by those sworn to defend her.\\
\\
Truth has been traded for lies and imaginations, which are being foisted upon young and old alike.\\
\\
What We Can Do\\
\\
It is easy to become discouraged, indifferent, and apathetic when a sense of helplessness overwhelms the desire for a return to the values that allowed our nation to be blessed. We are perplexed by the question of why anyone would want otherwise. We must bear in mind that God allowed America to be established and He can also allow it to be restored. There are things we can do as we remember that we didn’t get to this point overnight, and we likely will not revert overnight:\\
\\
Pray for God to forgive us as a nation and to give grace for a return to Judeo-Christian values, individually and nationally. \\
\\
Teach and discuss our Judeo-Christian values as we are told in Deuteronomy 6: 4-9, which says, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates”.\\
\\
Be an influence for righteousness in whatever arena God has placed you.\\
\\
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them” (Ephesians 5:11).\\
\\
Take part in elections, whether as a candidate, an election official, or as a voter.\\
\\
Research candidates’ behavior and track record.\\
\\
Study the source of Judeo-Christian values, the Word of God, that gives us the principles on which our country was founded.\\
\\
Study the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution which are based on the principles found in the Word of God.\\
\\
Don’t be overly afraid to offend through rebuke and correction. “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers” (Proverbs 11:14).\\
\\
Get involved in the effort to “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.” \\
\\
Set Your Face as Flint\\
\\
Revere our Judeo-Christian values, for they are the foundation upon which our country stands. It is built on the Rock, and on this Rock we must take our stand. “Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame” (Isaiah 50:7).\\
\\
