**Produce Meaningful Results**\\

When faced with a bloated, out-of-control federal government, one has to start wherever one can achieve results.  There are many goals for achieving meaningful results through the COS movement that are worth noting:\\

**Inform and Educate **\\

**Communicate and Connect**\\
\\
**Corrective Actions**\\
\\
**Inform and Educate**:\\
\\
Through social media and word of mouth, COS is getting the solutions out to the people. Our volunteers and leaders are using education to inform the public that they have a voice. Education is a big part of what we do.  Most of the public is aware of the issues that are pressing and how our way of life is being threatened by rising inflation and energy costs due to poor policy in Washington. The solutions, however, are to be found at the local and state level. Then, once we have our local governments in order through grassroots efforts, the state will fall into place. We will have a much better foundation to take on the Federal government in a non-partisan fashion.

The Education system will not inform citizens of their rights, so it is up to the People to make this happen. The Constitution was meant to limit the power of our government and to preserve our rights, not to limit the rights of the individual.  \\

**Communicate and Connect**:\\
\\
Our volunteers do a great job of communicating with the public through local events such as a gun and knife show.  Our members connect with politicians and encourage them to support our Article V project.  Also, our members are encouraged to start with the simplest position possible for affecting public policy, which is volunteering to assist with local voting. We educate others on the Problem and the Solution to unify to implement change.  \\

**Corrective Actions**:\\
\\
Corrective Actions can be signing a petition, making a donation, or meeting with our state legislators. We have to remind the public that checks and balances are built-in safety mechanisms for the protection of the People against a tyrannical government. One of the most important of these checks and balances comes from our local government and state.  All of these solutions take Courage, Commitment, and Collaboration.  \\
