Can you imagine a nation where constitutional law is obeyed? Can you imagine a place where there is little slandering and more ambition? Can you imagine a place where children truly have the hope of growing up in the free world they expect?\\
\\
I’m proud to be a part of the incredible movement that is making each of these things a priority. The Convention of States has one objective and that is to bring power back into the hands of the people.

It goes against the grind, it goes against decades of political and economic decline, and it opposes what 21st Century America believes to be true about freedom and justice for all.\\
\\
Our Founding Fathers knew what the American people would eventually face. With every nation comes leadership, and with leadership the desire for power.

At the time our nation was founded and our documents of law created, there was a trend of militant opposition to a monarchy. Why? Because its methods were destructive, the ideas oppressive, and the colonists--who lived an ocean away from their mother country--had no desire to be ruled by a regime.\\

Why is this important?\\
\\
Because the false governmental "sovereignty" headline is back, and this time it comes with a whole list of subcategories that go ignored: left, right, Congress, socialism…and the list goes on. It invokes too much division and is the shaky platform on which America is currently standing.\\
\\
An Article V Convention of States is a constitutional right. This is not a new idea but an idea that has been awaiting its chance to take back ground. The American people had yet to realize its crucial importance to change, but it has truly become critical to preserving our right to liberty.

Article V is a part of that right to speak the truth where those who have opposed truth have failed.\\
\\
Why do I volunteer for Convention of States? I was blessed to grow up in an environment that supported free thinking in its truest sense and knowing our nation’s laws and my rights, cover to cover. Because this method of education is not popular, caring about our freedoms is becoming less and less of a priority.

I am not content to let the government dictate the course of my beliefs or my rights, and certainly not those of my future children.\\
\\
I am encouraging those reading this to not only sign the petition but become involved. Signing the petition is stating that we believe and support the battle we’re fighting.

Let’s go a step further. Light the lamp of a free America. Volunteer for the Convention of States today for a chance to make history and stand behind Article V.
