Kuddos to our entire boots on the ground crew for setting up attractive registration and reception areas and for their beautiful decorations for our COSFest 2023. We also are grateful to and humbled by the kindness of the New Egypt Baptist Church and Pastor Cuozzo for providing us use of their church for this event for since 2021. 

Convention of States President Mark Meckler came early to visit our NJ grassroots members of the set up crew, holding an impromptu Q&A session during a pizza lunch. What fun we have in our work!

Mary Buckley, one of our District Captains, lead us in a stirring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that brought tears to one's eyes. Oh, how the National Anthem causes us to reflect on our love for America. Our NJ State Leaders, State Director Team Chris Garzino & Jim Collinsworth and Legislative Liaison Carlo Nardone, provided an overview of our grassroots progress with the Convention of States (COS). Importantly one of our Regional Captains, Bill Smith awarded a Patriot Pin to our faithful South Jersey Follow-up Team Member Jo Stante to acknowledge her almost two years of steadfastness in calling our newest supporters, running a Biblical Citizenship class, preparing for and presenting at COS meetings as well as securing venues for our activities and participating in petition outreach.

Our volunteers brought many friends to the meeting. 22 people became new signers of the COS Petition that day. Todd Lund, NJ Coalition Director for Student Affairs introduced COS President Mark Meckler. As you can see, we have close fellowship in the COS work and friendships are growing.
