With the introduction of **COSAction**, our new mobile app, we now have two different apps capable of handling TelePatriot missions. When the TelePatriot feature of **COSAction** is fully implemented, the original TelePatriot app (//TP App//) will be retired. Until that time, both apps are capable of handling the same TelePatriot missions.

However, **COSAction** includes significant enhancements over //TP App//, and there are new call statuses and responses which //TP App// does not support. For example, **COSAction** missions have the ability to apply tags at the completion of a call. In addition, //TP App// is not able to reliably maintain call counts for a mission due to several bugs and API limitations. Consequently, mission stats will effectively become corrupted if handled by both apps.

For this reason, there is a new option called "Allow for old TP app" on the mission edit page. Unless this option is selected, //TP App// will not see the mission, but **COSAction** sees //all// missions. This option was set on for all currently-active missions, but going forward, any missions intended for use by **COSAction** should generally leave this option off, so that the mission stats can be maintained properly.

When //TP App// has been retired, this option will be removed.
