OUR GOAL: **To inspire A Spiritual \\ and political Revival in ** **America.** THE MISSION: **Build the largest engaged Army of ** **Self-Governing grassroots Activists. ** JOIN TODAY! JOIN TODAY! WHY CALL A CONVENTION OF STATES? To bring power back to the states and the \\ people, where it belongs. Unelected \\ bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t \\ be allowed to make sweeping decisions \\ that impact millions of Americans. But right \\ now, they do.  **Who do you think should ** **decide what’s best for you and your ** **family? ** WHAT’S A CONVENTION OF STATES? Article V of the U.S. Constitution  **gives ** **states the power to call a Convention \\ of States to propose** amendments limit-\\ ed to the subjects outlined in our resolu-\\ tion.  To allow the states to make recom-\\ mendations that, “limit the power and \\ jurisdiction of the federal government, \\ impose fiscal restraints, and place term  limits on federal officials.” ** ** HOW IT WORKS? To call a Convention of States, 34 states \\ must pass identical resolutions in each \\ chamber of their legislature. Each state’s \\ delegation participates in drafting and \\ voting on proposed amendments that are \\ sent back to the states. It takes 38 states \\ to adopt and ratify any amendments that  are proposed. ** **   {{:cb_mirror_public:media:files_11615_pdfto002.png?nolink&1188x918 |background image}} THE RESOLUTION **Fiscal Restraints** – If the government taxed at 100 percent and confiscat-\\ ed everything, it wouldn’t cover the mountain of debt that we have already \\ accumulated. **Restrict the Power, Scope, and Jurisdiction of the Federal Government**  –  Congress has turned state legislatures into their regional agencies rather \\ than respecting them as truly independent republican governments. **Term Limits for Federal Official **– Our Founders never wanted anyone to \\ make a career out of public service. The longer someone stays in D.C., the \\ less connection they have to their constituents. Our federal officials, bu-\\ reaucrats, the Supreme Court, or Congresspeople do not have any reason \\ to change because We the People are not engaged.
