Fiat currency is the cause of every economic problem in America.    The economy suffers from the effects of this grand theft of over printing and spending of fiat money. //Our Constitution says, “No state shall ….make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debt.” **Article 1, **// //**section 10**. //**Article 1, sections 8 & 10** can only be restored by a constitutional amendment. //Congress never amended our Constitution to authorize the Federal Reserve Act.// //The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 began using fiat currency// (government-issued currency not  backed by gold or silver). Most Americans blithely accept its constitutionality simply  because it was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Wilson.  The //**Federal Reserve Note is wholly unconstitutiona**//l if no constitutional  amendment authorizes the Federal Reserve or its control of our monetary  system. The fact that this isn’t challenged is our nation’s most significant  fiscal problem. Many, if not all, of our economic challenges originate with  violating this constitutional provision. Could the first step in restoring fiscal restraint be to end fiat currency?  It is already quite evident that if Congress halts fiat money creation,  a cascade of consequences would precipitate the appropriate  corrections throughout our economy. The use of the **Article V** amendment process is a vital instrument  for the correction of such problems. If our Congress has no  interest in correcting problems, it will fall to the second process for  amendments, a convention of states. Join the millions of people nationwide who have signed the petition to  call for a convention to propose amendments such as ending fiat money.   **Sign the petition at ** //**https:%%//%%conventionofstates.com**//   Dave Landry //Our // //Constitution // //says, // //“No state // //shall // //….make anything // //but// // gold and silver// // coin a tender // //in payment // //of debt.” // //Article 1,// //Sections 8&10// {{:cb_mirror_public:media:files_18966_pdfto005.png?nolink&1836x1188 |background image}} **8** **9** **Packaging Party** **Packaging Par** **Monday, April 10th,** **EBR Main Library, Baton Rouge, LA** //Prepare the dessert bags and materials for the legislators.// //**EBR Main Library; 7711 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA**// //**4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m**.// //Those who attend Friday night might want to make plans to go// //to dinner after we finish at the library. // **Advocacy Day** **Advocacy Da** **Tuesday, April 11th,** **The Capitol, Baton Rouge, LA**  \\ //Breakfast at Another Broken Egg 8:00 a.m. -2531 Citiplace Ct.\\ Unit 100 Baton Rouge, LA  70808// //Set up tables in the Rotunda of the State Capitol from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  \\ You may bring your items to the back of the Capitol and drop them off for\\ the trustees to bring upstairs if you wish.
