Either a “yes” or “present not voting” will get the resolution moved to the floor. \\ \\ Now I’m asking all of you to write, email, and call their offices and tell them to vote for LR7 and move the resolution to the General File where the real debate occurs.  Don’t let the person who answers the phone tell you that you are not in the Senators district. This is a Nebraska issue and you want a full debate.  Be polite. \\ \\ Email the Senators separately.  BE polite in all correspondence. \\ \\ **Suggested message(s) to Senator Blood. **\\ \\ - As a grandmother I am very concerned about the future our grandchildren will inherit. Their future is so important and deserves a full debate on the floor of the legislature. I urge you, as a fellow grandparent, to vote for LR7 in committee. [Senator Blood is a mother and grandmother, if the sender is not a grandmother, then substitute mother] \\ - As a veteran I urge you to pass LR7 in committee. I feel the idea of a convention of states is something we must debate. \\ I hope that as a compassionate and caring advocate for Nebraska's children, you will vote to bring LR7 to the floor for discussion, in order to preserve the blessings of liberty for them all. Thank you once again for supporting the children of Nebraska. \\ - Convention of States is a campaign issue for me in 2020. \\ - How do you feel about blocking Senator Waynes’ LR9? Both resolutions must leave committee for full debate on the merits of the bill. \\ - LR7 has two Democrat co-sponsors. \\ - The Convention of States Project Resolution is filed in the states of New York and Hawaii and now 14 states have passed the resolution.  \\ **Suggested message(s) to Senator Hansen.** \\ \\ - 66% of Nebraskans support LR7 including 158 people in your district who want to hear the debate on LR7. \\ - Convention of States is a campaign issue for me in 2020. \\ - The runaway convention concept  is a myth debunked multiple times. \\ - The Convention of States Project Resolution is filed in the states of New York and Hawaii and now 14 states have passed the resolution. \\ - I am very concerned about the future of our country and I am convinced that a Convention of States is a must. LR7 is the best solution to ensure that Nebraskans continue to live the Good Life. There is no better place to live and I would hate to see you in the position of having to explain to your constituents why you voted against LR7 in committee and thus prevented a full debate on the floor of the legislature. \\ - How do you feel about blocking Senator Waynes’ LR9?
