**For decades**, the opposition's tactics for calling an //**Article V**// convention of states to propose amendments to the Constitution have been identical for every attempt.

**Fan the flames of fear!**

The myths the left uses to stoke those flames of fear: 

  * there has never been an Article V convention of states, so it is untested,
  * no one knows what could happen, 
  * the scope can't be limited
  * we don't know how they work, and 
  * state legislatures can't control the delegates they send to convention

are all offshoots of their favorite taradiddle—the **1787 Philadelphia Convention** was a //**"runaway."**// This premise is the //**"Holy Grail**//" of their staunch opposition (they even invented a boogeyman to promulgate their agenda, **"Con-Con,"** and it is all the proof they need to proclaim **Convention of States Action** is trying to destroy the Constitution and system of government because we secretly know the convention can't be controlled and we have a hidden agenda we will impose on the unsuspecting people.

The **COSA PA Comms Team** thought comparing how these two separate grassroots organizations have been treated might be worthwhile.

**If I may ask just one question, where are the articles critical of the idea because it is dangerous and the outcome cannot be controlled?**

**What** are the positions of JBS, The Eagle Forum, FOAC, The Daily Caller, Daily KOS, Mother Jones, CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the mainstream media?

Am I that much of a cynic to think the opposition **COSA** faces is based on ideology and politics and not a sincere desire to protect our system of government?

Where are all the haters?
