Slack is the primary communication program that COS uses for its different groups.  Each state has a separate workspace and each type of volunteer has a separate workspace (like District Captain, Communications, SIAs, etc.)  Within the workspaces are channels, or topics where posts can be organized.  Direct communication to an individual or group is similar to texting.  Huddles (like phone calls) can be set up.  Files can be posted to share among a group or an individual.  In short, it is a very versatile communication tool.  

It is not difficult to install, but you must follow the directions to ensure that you are set up correctly.  Please read the instructions rather than "winging" it.  

**Install Slack on a Windows Computer**

**Install Slack on a MacOS Computer**
